do they? I'm not sure about that. I guess whether someone is attractive to you has nothing to do with which country he/she is from. Maybe to some Chinese women, western guys are more masculine, more romantic and more gentelman like. But it's not true to say all Chinese girls like foreigners. I have several Chinese girl friends who are chased after by foreign guys but wouldn't go on a date with them. :

they see european movies and the gentle way they treat woman and it surely tempts some of them

but i think thats just a few chinese girls  that follow that rule ^^

yeh, I agree with candysaito. European men seem to care more about women. They will open the door for you, move the chair for you and pour your drinks for you. I'm sure all  girls like that. And that's what Asian men should learn. Asian men seem to like dominating women, and it's like their girlfriends and wives are parts of them, rather than individuals.  I have a friend whose life is totally around her husband and I feel sorry for her sometimes that she has to say sorry and try to make him happy after going out with us (all girls).

The westerns are just more educated and have better maners with women than the chinese guys. I see some guys doing some things here in Beijing that I just get so impressed... Like fighting with the girl on the street, or screaming with gf at public places. I'm not saying that every chinese do this kind of stuff, but living in Beijing for less than a month I have seen many of this on the streets... I would never do that kind of stuff as I think most of the westerns wouldn't do it also. It's just a matter of respect to women that many chinese guys don't care. (Like I said I'm not talking that every chinese guy is like that, but that I've seen many and heard from people that lives here also.)

Westerners are better communicators and more open and chances are, they'll have money to look after them too!

Also, they show better gentlemen aspects whereas in Tsim Sha Tsui- HK I've seen an HK visiting local mainland husband get REALLY angry on his wife in the plaza and threw a shopping bag across the floor. The 14 yrs old son was like normal so not sure if he's use to that action but wife just stood there in awe ashamed that every1 was looking.

Such people are a disgrace to society. Actually the other day going thru Shenzhen border to HK, I saw an HK guy with his girlfriend was swearing very badly at 2 other HK girls that he don't know. I could see he felt he was so manly but the girls were just helpless disco type girls lol.

It's education at the end of the day- u don't hurt people especially females like that.
